Learning idioms in other languages can be fun and interesting! In order to speak like a native, idioms are essential to learn and understand. “To be straightforward/ to say it how it is”

Example: Mi amigo no tiene pelos en la lengua

                           My friend says it how it is


El mundo es un pañuelo

“It’s a small world”


Costar un riñón

“It cost me an arm and a leg”

                           Example: Mi móvil nuevo me costó un riñón

                           My new phone cost me an arm and a leg


El que la sigue, la consigue

“If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again”


El tiempo es oro

“Time is money”
