DELE (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera)

DELE is the official diploma issued by Instituto Cervantes and accredited by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Professional Training to certify one’s proficiency level in the Spanish language.

In short, it’s the most recognized official measure of the Spanish language – recognized on an international scale.

Obtaining a DELE certificate is a sure way to demonstrate the level of Spanish you have acquired. 

Why should I take the DELE exam?

It’s actually really useful to obtain a DELE certificate especially if you have academic or professional goals.

Professionally it can boost your CV and open doors to jobs you couldn’t have previously applied for (particularly jobs in Spanish speaking countries).

Academically it is an excellent way to measure your success and demonstrate the level you have reached. If you are applying for a higher Spanish course, an internship or a job, they may require you to present your academic level of Spanish so it’s good to know where you’re at and be able to demonstrate it too. 

DELE Group Courses

Our group courses are guaranteed to prepare you for the exam. You’ll learn from a native Spanish teacher who will focus on exam specific materials for ultimate preparation. 

DELE group courses range from a minimum of 4 students per course.

They follow one of the following formats:

• 6 weeks course: Choose between 6 hours or 8 hours of classes per week
• Classes held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., or from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Our private courses offer you the chance to prepare for the exam on your own schedule entirely. Choose your schedule and the course duration and we work with you every step of the way.

DELE Exam Levels

Students can take one of the following DELE examination levels:

A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2.

Our EUROACE Spanish teachers have ample experience preparing students for the DELE examinations and a high pass rate among our students who have taken the examination. We prepare students for all DELE certificate levels.

When?

There are 7 examination sessions each year in Spain for the DELE certificate.

These examinations take place in: 

February, April, May, July, September, October and November
