This week´s Interactive lessons & Cultural activities at EUROACE!
These past few weeks have been a challenging time for everyone in Valencia but we are proud to say that nothing stopped our Spanish classes from running and that both our students and teachers made a real effort to continue with their studies and classes. Despite the rocky weather and distruptions that swept across the region, our classrooms stayed open, our lessons continued, and our students remained committed to learning at our school.
In this week´s blog, we want to give you a glimpse into the variety of ways we make learning Spanish engaging and fun at our school. From hands-on activities to lively exercises, our teaching methods are all about getting students actively involved in the learning process. Whether it’s through games, group discussions, role-playing, or cultural activities, we believe that the best way to learn a language is by immersing yourself in it—and we’ve got plenty of creative ways to make that happen!
We’ve spent the last few weeks welcoming both new students and groups to our school and joining them on their exciting language- learning journey. It’s a testament to the resilience and passion of our community that, no matter the circumstances, our studies have remained uninterrupted.
This week our B1 students participated in a great interactive game which also implemented new technologies. It consisted of a series of questions where students had to distinguish the use between Ser and Estar (a common difficulty for non native speakers) and they also looked for answers on the internet and compared their findings with classmates.
Our beginner students started off the week with some vocabulary about different parts of the house. We love seeing our students work in pairs or small groups as it encourages fast language learning and communication skills. Our teachers always promote speaking activities in their lessons, especially with larger groups. It gives our students more confidence and lets them create proper relationships with their peers!
As well as our interactive lessons, our cultural activities are a key part of our student´s learning experience because they immerse students in the language in real-world contexts. By engaging with Spanish culture through food, music, traditions, and local customs, students not only expand their vocabulary but also gain a deeper understanding of the language’s nuances and cultural significance. These activities create a dynamic and enjoyable way to practice Spanish, making learning more memorable and relevant.
This week at EUROACE we saw a Flamenco show. It didn´t dissapoint!
Our Spanish courses are always open to new students, and we welcome learners of all levels to join at any time. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to improve your skills, we’re here to help you on your language journey! Our cultural activities will also give you a chance to relax from lessons and really indulge in Spanish culture.
