All about EUROACE´s combined programs
Are you interested in more than one of our services or programs and can´t quite choose which one to go for? Here´s some good news! The You don´t have to! As well as offering specific courses and programs for people focused on a certain type of field, work experience or language learning, we also offer a number of combined programs which offer a unique opportunity to enhance both your language proficiency and professional or community experience.
Our blog today talks all about our combined programs and how they may benefit both your personal and professional development.
Professional Experience
We offer internships in Spain´s three major cities – Valenica, Barcelona and Madrid and by taking on a combined course, you can get real life work experience as well as the chance to immerse yourself in Spanish both inside and outside the classroom. You really do get the best of both worlds. Your internship places you in a professional environment where you engage with local customs, work practices, and communication styles daily. This hands-on experience gives you direct insight into the country’s social norms, values, and etiquette that you wouldn’t get as a tourist.
Aside from the internship, your Spanish course will also help you build a strong foundation in the language, enabling you to communicate more effectively in the workplace. Whether it’s interacting with colleagues, understanding instructions, or participating in meetings, being proficient in Spanish will help you navigate daily tasks with ease.
Cultural understanding
A great thing about a combined course is that you´re able to discover new perspectives and cultures whilst learning. A Spanish course typically offers insights into local culture, traditions, and social norms, helping you better understand the country you’re interning in. This broader cultural awareness enriches your internship experience and allows you to form deeper connections with locals and colleagues.
Participating in both a Spanish course and an internship exposes you to different networks—both in academic and professional circles. You’ll connect with classmates, instructors, colleagues, and business contacts, which could open doors to future job opportunities, collaborations, or friendships in Spanish-speaking regions.
Adapting to Diverse Situations
If you prefer to do some volunteering over one of our internships, a combined program can help you improve major skills such as communication and quick thinking. Volunteering environments can be unpredictable, and learning Spanish while volunteering will enhance your ability to navigate these situations confidently, as you’ll be better equipped to handle language barriers and communication challenges.
Volunteering offers a hands-on way to apply your Spanish, providing continuous feedback and increasing your confidence as you see your progress in real-time. The sense of achievement you gain from helping others in their native language also motivates you to keep improving.
