How Does EUROACE Help You Integrate When Studying Abroad?

Taking the leap to do a study abroad experience isn’t for the faint-hearted! You’ll arrive in a brand new city with no idea of where you are, how to get around or who to ask. Being in a new place without your circle of friends can be daunting…but it can be an amazing adventure and one of the best life experiences. Meeting new people is fun and it’s great to make friends to travel with and explore the city.

That’s why we are here to help and support you. Here are some ways in which we help our students to integrate, meet new people and form new friendships!

Language Exchange Nights

All year round we organize Language Exchanges at local pubs where our students can come to practice Spanish with locals and where they can meet many other international students. These nights are great to help our students find out more about Spanish culture and learn about the city from the locals themselves.

Cultural Activities

We put on many activities for our students throughout the year, with the main aim being to expose them to the true Spanish culture and enjoy their study abroad experience.

Here in the city of Valencia we take touristic bike tours, eat at the best and most authentic spots, and take part in local festivities and celebrations. Our students discover the beauty and mystery of Valencia, opening their mind to new traditions and perspectives.

Other activities we do outside of the city include day trips and excursions to historical towns,  sports activities in the surrounding nature and trips to local festivals.

Spanish Classes

We provide Spanish classes for students of all ages and levels. Our Spanish classes are all taught by native teachers who take a practical approach to learning. That means lots of conversation and practicing the grammar in a more natural way!

Our students have often commented that the classes really prepared them for speaking Spanish in real life situations, such as asking questions and conversing in daily interactions. The classes really help our students to integrate more easily into the culture.

Euroace Social Networks

To ensure our students are up to date, we send weekly e-mails as well as making daily posts on our social media sites. We cover a range of topics including; what’s going on in the city, local events and holidays, unique activities and the best places to visit. All to provide our students with as much info as possible!

Overall, integrating into a new culture is a personal choice. If you are willing to open your mind, learn new things and attend different events, you’ll quickly meet people and find out about your new environment. We are here to provide constant hep and support, and make the experience as enjoyable as possible!
